Build your workforce early

Opening or Expanding a Business?

Workforce planning shouldn't begin the week you need to hire. DCS seeks to connect with businesses, developers, contractors and organizations entering or expanding in Hazelwood before hiring begins.

Early engagement can help identify hiring timelines, qualifications, training needs, apprenticeships, recruitment activities, local talent connections and workforce partnerships.

Community Organizations: Help Connect People With Opportunity

Workforce development works best when the community works together. DCS welcomes partnerships with churches, community organizations, workforce agencies, training providers, schools, human-service organizations, employers and organizations supporting residents facing barriers.

Community partners can share resources, refer residents, and collaborate on workshops, recruitment events and other workforce activities.
